‘Stairway to Heaven’ to go on ifilm schedule

Iranian series ‘Stairway to Heaven’ has been set to be aired by ifilm English TV.

The series, directed by Mohammad-Hossein Latifi, will start on Sunday, September 29, 2019.

The series tells the story of Jamshid Kashani, one of the most brilliant minds in the history of sciences.

The renowned 15th century Iranian astronomer managed to make incredible scientific breakthroughs as he lived during the tumultuous times of Timur Mongol's invasion.

Notable among the cast are Vahid Jalilvand, Jamshid Jahanzadeh, Vishka Asayesh, Mehdi Faqih, Borzou Arjmand, Sara Khoueeniha, Hassan Pourshirazi, Farhad Qaemian, Shabnam Qolikhani, Rahim Norouzi, and Mahchehreh Khalili.

Produced in 2009, ‘Stairway to Heaven’ is scheduled to replace ‘Jalal Edin’ and will be aired daily at 19:00 GMT.

ifilm English will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 03:00, 08:00 and 14:00 (all GMT times). The series comprises 21 episodes.
